Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church Nursing School
AELC Nursing School is located in the medical building of BAER Hospital.
Also initiated by Dr.Marie Bell. He is involved in community health workers in different places in Chilara and its surroundings.
The School of Nursing prepares students to serve the poor in clinics and hospitals and other endeavors undertaken by trusts.
The school also offers preventive health education and health check-ups in nearby towns. It contributes to improving the health of the poor, increasing work performance, and reducing infant mortality.
GNM Course Length:
• The General Nurse Midwifery degree lasts 3 years and includes therapeutic and health training for the community, individual, or family.
• A internship is required to acquire practical training in a professional health environment.
GNM Nursing Qualification Criteria:
According to the Nursing Council of India, the GNM Nursing Qualification Criteria are as follows:
• Candidates must have completed Accreditation Council 10+2 or II PUC to be eligible for this course.
• Candidates should ideally have studied a science subject (physics, chemistry, or biology). Students in the arts stream can also apply for this program. However, it is different for different universities.
• Must represent 45% of the total
• Candidates must be in good physical and mental health.
Nursing Admission Procedure GNM:
• Most institutions follow a direct admission procedure.
•The seat is awarded based on scores of 10+2 or II PUC (or any other equivalent exam)
• However, very few universities have an entrance exam that students must pass. What follows is a personal interview.
• Some institutions also offer scholarships to top-performing students.
