Qualifications-Education credentials
• 10+2 English and must pass at least 40% on the qualifying exam.
Applicants are also eligible for admission to public schools recognized by the state government and national institutes of education recognized by the central government (NIOS).
However, science is preferable.
• English 10+2 with 40% marks in professional ANM courses in Indian Council of Nursing accredited schools.
• English Language 10+2 with 40% marks in Vocational Track – Health Sciences from a CBSE-recognized board/state/center.
ANM
• ANM registered with a pass mark.
• The minimum age is 17 and they must be completed before December 31 of the year of registration. The upper limit is 35 years.
• 5% of total score relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
• Any other reservations under state government retention policy.

Punjab Nurses Registration Board will conduct its annual examination in August/September.
There will be a review every six months.
Eligibility for Exam
Candidates for the Exam must complete an 11-month course. Candidates must achieve 80% theoretical attendance and 100% practical attendance in each subject to be eligible to take the exam.
However, vacancies must be filled during the summer break.
Graduation and Registration
Successful applicants will be awarded a GNM diploma by the Punjab Nurses Registration Board.
They will be able to be registered with the Board of Nursing of any state in India.
