About B.Ed course
B.Ed or Bachelor of Education is a 2-year degree program to work as a school teacher after graduation.

According to the National Council for Teacher Education, it is mandatory for all teachers to have a B.Ed course degree.
Admission to B.Ed is through entrance exams and merit-based admission. Candidates must have a graduation degree in order to become eligible for the B.Ed course.

Entrance test for B.Ed Admissions includes DU BEd, MP PRE BEd, IGNOU BED, and UP BED JEE.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed admission vary slightly from one institute to another. However, the overall eligibility criteria or requirements remain the same.
The students need to pass their graduation exam with a minimum of 50-55% overall marks from a recognized institute. In the case of Bachelor of Technology or Postgraduate students, the minimum marks obtained should be 55 %.
5% relaxation in marks is given to the reserved category students like SC/ST/PWD.
Notably, there is no specific age limit prescribed to pursue this program, but some colleges may ask for a minimum age of 19 years to grant admission to this program.
And most importantly students must qualify for their entrance exam in most cases.

B.Ed Syllabus
