Kerala Agricultural University Application Form 2023:-

Kerala Agricultural University has issued an offer for eligible candidates for admission to UG, PG, and Ph.D. The KAU Application 2023 will be issued shortly.

Kerala Agricultural College was established in 1971 to provide excellence in agricultural education, research, and extension for sustainable agricultural development and livelihoods of farming communities.

It is the largest and leading university in Kerala. A large number of students enroll in various majors every year. Candidates can get more information about their KAU Application Form 2023 and instructions to complete the application form in the following article.

KAU Application Form 2023 Details

The KAU Application Form 2023 application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the official website. Candidates have to register on the website and fill out an application form by entering some basic details.  Once registration is complete, candidates will receive access to and complete an application form. Online application is only applicable if the university receives all required documents within the specified deadline.

Applicants are encouraged to print out the application and bring it with them.

Send the printed application, other important documents, and the applicable application fee to the official address.

Applicants must submit the required documents by the deadline. 

Application Criteria-

The application fee for General category applicants is Rs. 750/-

Application fee for Scheduled Castes/Tribes applicants is Rs. ) and a minimum score of 50% on the B . Sc (Hons) Courses Passed Two/Higher Secondary/Recognized Equivalent Exam is a requirement for admission (a passing score for SC/ST candidates).

The above tests must be passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Plus 2 tiers of biotechnology are also conceivable.

candidates must be studying mathematics as a +2 level subject in the Climate Change Adaptation course.

 For PG courses – M Sc. (ag. / Hort.): Bachelor’s degree in each subject / Equivalent degree recognized by KAU at the required CGPA/ percentage.

Master of Arts (Forestry):- Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry /Agriculture/ Horticulture/BA & A.H (Wildlife Sciences Only) or equivalent CGPA/ percentage required he recognized by KAU.

MA (Ag.Statistics):-

Agricultural degree or equivalent recognized by KAU. or have a bachelor’s degree. Mathematics/statistics from an accredited university may also be applied with the required CGPA/percentage.

meters sc (C&B):-

Bachelor of Science. (Hons.)- C&B degree from KAU or equivalent recognized by her KAU at her CGPA/percentage required.

Master’s Degree Home Science (FS&N): Bachelor’s degree in Home Science/Family and Community Science or BSc. (Hons) Ag. KAU or the equivalent of the required CGPA/percentage.

  Tech. (Ag. Engg.):-

 Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering/Food Technology, or an equivalent degree recognized by her KAU at her CGPA/percentage required.

B.Tech (Food Engineering) graduates are only eligible to apply to the  Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering major.

For MBA courses Graduates of National Agricultural Colleges/ICAR Accredited Colleges with the required CGPA/percentage.

With graduates including professional graduates from Indian/Foreign Universities accredited by AICTE/UGC with the required CGPA/Percentage.

The applicants who passed the final professional qualification exam are also eligible to apply.

These candidates will receive transcripts and provisional transcripts by the day of enrollment.

Ph.D. Programs –

Except for Home Science & Rural Marketing Management for Ph.D.: Master’s degree in related/related field from the relevant department at KAU or equivalent with required CGPA/percentage accepted degree.

Fundamentals Agriculture/Agronomy/Agronomy Engg. is mandatory for all courses except Home Science and Rural Marketing Management.

For Home Science:-

M Sc. Bachelor of Home Science with a focus on Food Science and  Nutrition/MSc. Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition recognized by KAU with the required CGPA/percentage.

For Rural Marketing Management:- A Master’s degree in a related /relevant field from the relevant faculty of KAU or an equivalent degree or MBA (ABM) with the required CGPA/percentage is accepted.
