Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)-
This course is designed to prepare independent and competent nurses to work in the professional field.
The College offers a 3-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
The course revolves around general health care provided in schools, hospitals, clinics, colleges, and the military.

The main objective is to provide nurses by making them competent and trained and to contribute as an essential component in the delivery of health care.
Candidates must have obtained a mark of 45% in 10+2 and be between the ages of 17 and 35.
They must also pass a medical examination to verify the health status of the candidate.
Topics covered in this course include the fundamentals of nursing, first aid, sociology as well as health education, and communication skills.

After graduating and graduating, candidates can choose careers in various fields such as health care nurses, school nurses, or emergency nurses.
The college offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery which have different entry requirements.
GNM Course
The admission standard of the GNM nursing education course depends on two factors, one is the level of education and the other is the age limit.
Teaching Qualifications
• Applicants must pass the Upper Secondary Examination (10+2) of the Board of Secondary Education or any recognized board/board to apply for the GNM course.
Age Restrictions
• From January 1, 2020, applicants will have a minimum age limit of 17 and a maximum age limit of 27.
• Applicants must apply as Indian citizens and permanent residents of the region of India where the applicant wishes to reside. (i.e. if your area of permanent residence is Hooghly, you can only apply for the Hooghly area).
Selection Process
• Candidates will be selected for admission to the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program based on the marks they achieve in their high school exams and an entrance exam held in June.
• The selection will be strictly based on the total score of the compulsory subjects (one subject language + English and the best three of the other three subjects) in high school (10+2) or equivalent exam. Vocational stream students are not eligible
