                      MSc Agriculture is a 2-year postgraduate program providing a fundamental and scientific understanding of agricultural production through effective field management, including in-depth knowledge of weed science, pest management water, and nutrients.

Admission Process for the Master of Agriculture

                                                                     Admission to the Master of  Agriculture program is based on the results obtained in the graduation and entrance examinations. However, some universities only grant admission based on grades obtained upon graduation.

Letters of admission for each college are usually issued in May/June. However, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the dates for this school year have been postponed.

 

 Qualifications for Master of Agriculture

                                                              Students must meet the following criteria in order to enter the University for the Master of Agriculture program.

Students must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college /university, such as a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or its variants (horticulture, forestry,  etc.) with a minimum mark of 50-55%. Loosen the dots for SC/ST/OBC/PWD  candidates.

Some universities also require previous work experience as an admission requirement, but this is not mandatory.

There is no age limit for studying the MSc Agriculture. Any graduate who meets the above conditions can take this course.

  • MSc Agriculture Distance Learning/Non-attendance is a two-year postgraduate course offered by many accredited institutions, but it varies between foundation and introductory courses.
