Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (A.N.M)
Nursing is a healthcare profession that focuses on caring for families and communities so they can achieve, maintain, or restore good health and quality of life optimal.
Health is a fundamental right of the individual in society. A nurse is a professionally trained person who keeps a person healthy and happy.
ANM is a full-time 2-year degree program and upon completion, they become ANM Registered Nurses.
- Assess a client’s nursing needs from birth to death.
- Plan and execute appropriate actions to meet nursing needs.
- Provide effective care to maintain optimal health in all its aspects.
- Promote personal care for those in their care.
- Apply problem-solving skills in nursing practice
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care.
- Apply knowledge of human, biological, and behavioral sciences as a nurse.
- Participates in the provision of curative, preventive, promotional, and rehabilitative health care services within a health team.
- Apply interpersonal knowledge and communication skills in work to work effectively with health teams and community members.
- Mobilize community resources and involve them in working with the community.
- Demonstrate the use of ethical values in their personal and professional organizations
- Recognize the need for continuing education in professional organizations
- Demonstrate basic skills in teaching and providing patient care.
- Demonstrate basic management and leadership skills while working with the health team and other community members.
Support for research activities
- Nursing assistants will become registered nurses
- Registered nurses will be able to assume the responsibilities of professional nurses and midwives, providing services curative, preventive, and preventive rehabilitation in hospitals, communities, and all health services in health facilities.
- Registered nurses will work as teachers, supervisors, researchers, and administrators in all healthcare settings.
- Curriculum
Admission Minimum age for admission is 17 by December 31 of the year of application.
Students must be in good health.
The student has passed a 10+2 arts or science exam administered by the National Academy of Open Schools. Students register once a year.

- The application form must be completed by the applicant himself. Please fill in the details according to your high school diploma.
- The information provided in the application form must be correct, any false information may lead to disqualification.
- The completed application form should be submitted to the office at Rs. 5000/- for the entrance examination.
- Include the following with your completed application:
- Copies of 10 (metric) and 10+2 or equivalent test results, admission card, and certificate.
- Two passport-size color photographs
Applicants must attach copies of the following certificates/documents.

- Two photographs of each permanent family member (maximum three members)
Selection process
Admission is by entrance examination. The entrance examination will consist of:
- a) Competence in Nursing – 10 points.
- b) General Science – 50 points
- c) General Knowledge – 20 points
- d) English – 10 points
- e) General Ability -10 points.
– The minimum pass mark for the entrance exam is 50%.
